At the end of Term 3, Mrs Woller and our itinerant music teachers, Mr Farrow, Mr Greenfield and Mrs Jackson, took the NPGHS Orchestra, NPBHS/NPGHS Combined Concert Band, the NPGHS Jazz Band and the NPGHS Barbershop Chorus to Wellington to the MusicWorks Ensemble Festival Aotearoa (MEFA).

All the ensembles performed as well as receiving coaching, and students participated in an array of workshops from improvisation to instrumental lessons with NZSO players.

They all achieved fantastic results:

NPGHS Orchestra won Gold

NPBHS/NPGHS Concert Band won Gold

NPGHS Jazz Band won Silver

and the NPGHS Barbershop Chorus won Gold
