NPGHS students have had huge success at the Championships

Alexis O'Doherty (Year 11), Laura Ross (Year 12) and Sophie Hunt (Year 10) all competed in the NZ Artistic Roller Skating Championships in Auckland over the holidays.

Alexis O'Doherty skated amazingly. She won gold in the Intermediate Ladies Freeskating event and has also been selected for the 2023 Oceania and World New Zealand Team.

Laura Ross and Sophie Hunt skated in a team which won gold for their precision event, an event involving nine skaters performing an impressive routine. The team had trained for nearly a year for the event and they now hold the Open Precision title for New Zealand.
