On 30th July, NPGHS Departments opened their doors to Year 9-12 students for the afternoon.

It is time for students to make choices for their subjects for 2010 and so girls were allowed to move around the many displays organised by the Departments. Every location of the school was utilised so students could experience as many different subjects that are available from each level at NPGHS. There were heaps of colourful and interactive displays to investigate. Every subject area such as Waimarie, Science, Social Sciences, Economics, PE, Languages, Drama and Dance as well as the wonderful Art Dept were showing the students what courses there are to offer. As well as this, teachers were available to give advice to all students.

From 5.30, the school was then open to prospective Year 8 students from Intermediate and Primary schools. We welcomed both students and parents in the Hall and then tours were conducted by senior students so groups were shown around various locations around the school.
