for Samoan Tsunami victims

Students wore their house colours during the day and were asked to give a gold coin donation for the victims. At last count, $850 had been raised. Other contributions include used sportswear that will be sent from the PE Department to Samoa. A personal message from the school has been sent to His Highness Tui Atua Tupua Tamasese Efi and Her Highness Masiofo Filifilia Imo of Samoa highlighting our sympathy to the Samoan communities. Her Highness Filifila attended Scotlands Hostel as a Boarder between 1956 –1961 and therefore has a very personal association with the school, especially since both visited us in 2007. The Fun run was a wonderful event with huge amounts of students and staff enjoying the running/walking course Congratulations to the following girls who were placed in the top ten places:
